Adira Foundation

Adira Foundation collaborated with StoryCorps to record a collection of stories from individuals impacted by five neurodegenerative diseases—Alzheimer's, ALS, Huntington's disease, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson's. Their goal was to shift the narrative surrounding these diseases, fostering empathy and understanding for those living with them.

The project provided a platform for people living with neurodegenerative diseases and their support teams to openly share about their experiences. These stories shed light on the various challenges faced by patients and caregivers, but also highlighted the unexpected strengths and emotional growth that emerged from their journeys.
