Leaving A Mark

In 2012, while at the Transom Story Workshop, I read a Craigslist post written by a man who wanted his swastika tattoo covered up. And then I went to meet him. This is the story about Bruce and his life, framed around our brief encounter.

I stayed in touch with Bruce after producing this piece. He did find someone to cover his tattoo before he passed in December 2015.

“Leaving A Mark” won Best Documentary: Bronze, 2014 Third Coast/Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Competition.
